Created for Esch2022 – European Capital of Culture, Terebra is a site-specific installation inspired by the region’s mining heritage and geological past. Situated along the Landscapes trail between Kayl and Rumelange, the tunnel-like wooden structure evokes both the architecture of mine galleries and the form of a predatory sea snail, symbolizing deep time, transformation, and the tension between industrial history and natural resilience..
